Hello my name is Mike Medsker and I appreciate the opportunity to tell you more about myself. My family and I moved to Raymore in 1987 and then Peculiar in 1988 where my Parents and sister still reside.

I am married to the most wonderful person Angie and have two beautiful children Zoey and Nathan. My wife and I both graduated from Raymore-Peculiar High School, myself in 1997 and my wife in 1996. My wife’s family still resides in Raymore and comes from a long line of home builders and realtors in this area.

My wife started in the real estate business with her mother while in college and now is a wonderful stay at home mother for our children. I started selling real estate in 1999 for a real estate office in Raymore. In 2002 I made a move to the mortgage industry. I have been a very successful Mortgage Planner since 2002 and have helped thousands of families in Cass County and surrounding areas. I currently work for Diamond Residential Mortgage as a Sr Mortgage Loan Officer.

I am a current Ward 2 Councilmember for the City of Raymore. I have devoted my life to the betterment of this community. While on the Council I have made sure to vote against unnecessary tax and fee increases, saving the citizens of Raymore well over $1,000,000. While President of the Raymore Chamber of Commerce I have made sure to stick up for businesses and help the small business owner.
